Round Rock was just named by Money magazine as the best place to live in America in 2019! Wow! WalletHub also published its list of fastest-growing cities in America. To compile their list, WalletHub compared 515 cities of varying sizes on 17 key measures of growth and weakness over seven years. They considered areas such as population growth, economic gains, and unemployment declines in determining their rankings.
Let’s take a look at some stats from that article:
Round Rock was named the 10th fastest-growing city in the U.S.
Round Rock was ranked the second fastest-growing city in Texas.
Round Rock ranked number six for midsize cities (100,000 to 300,000 residents) with the highest growth.
Round Rock ranked number 15 in the “sociodemographics” category.
Round Rock ranked number 28 in the “jobs and economy” category.
Austin ranked number 15 overall for fastest-growing cities in the U.S.
Austin ranked number one for large cities with the fastest growth.
